ZL : its so much harder to do wad u want to do in singapore... compared to in other countries.. in singapore.... say u wan to be an actor... u aint going to be an actor until after uve at least finished Olvls..by then ur already 16..or 17..

ZL: in japan.. there are so many actors and actresses.. who r like... 13 15 yrs old...

ZL: if they want to act its up to them if they want to contiune studying ah.. but in singapore... "if" u are an actor below 16.. u will have to study at the same time also..

MAJ: like that no good leh. no matter what at least a cert to bring you anywhere if results are good.

ZL: u mean to quit school and act full time is not a good idea ah?

MAJ: ya loh.

ZL: thts how it is in singapore... this is how our society has taught us..tht we need something to call back on..which is not a good thing also..because if ur always thinking tht u need to at least get an O lvl cert before u do anything then u will always be caught in between studies and acting.. and as long as tht is the case... u will never be the actor tht u have the potential to be..
cause ur not giving acting ur 100%

ZL: haha.. thts how it is in singapore wad.... the only way we can do wad we really wan to do is to get the heck out of here... unless u really wan to study ah... and do just normal work.. like engineering and all those kind of educated stuff... in singapore loh... thts wad singapore is best for wad.. lol . certs...
